INSTRUCTIONS TO COMPLETE RISK MANAGEMENT APPLICATION FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS

Who must register?

Coaches (Recreation, Academy, Challenge, Classic & Camp), Team Officials (Managers, Treasurers), Registrars, Board Members and any other volunteers.

• Go to the following link to begin:  Risk Management Application
• If you registered last year choose the option that includes "I have previously registered with NCYSA." Depending on your last application, you may need to register again.
• You will be asked to verify your information to continue.
  • You will need the following information to continue:
    • Your type of affiliation: NCYSA Member Association
    • Member Association Name: Toe Valley Soccer Association
  • Choose the type of position.
    
    • Note: If you are a team treasurer please use "Team Manager".
  • Choose the correct level (Recreation, Academy, or Classic) and age group. If more than one team, choose all that apply.
  • You will need to complete the Contact Information Portion of the Risk Management Application

Do I need to register every year?

 

Yes, you must register every year. The soccer calendar year starts in the fall and ends in the spring spring. Beginning in May, all coaches must register or re-register with NCYSA Risk Management for the next calendar year. You are not able to participate OR be rostered with your team until you have been approved by NCYSA Risk Management. In addition, for classic & challenge team officials (coaches and managers) all paperwork for your teams will be held up at the state office until you have been approved by risk management. This means that your team may not have its cards back in time for a pre-season tournament.

You may not have any in person contact with your team until your application has been approved. This includes team meetings, practices, games, or any other contact.
